Build a Sail, Build a Rudder.
“It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.”
How many times have we heard this?
It’s true, not true.
The journey matters because the journey is what makes up life on earth.
The journey matters because the integrity with which you walk while on the journey has ripple-effect impact.
And the journey matters because every step of the journey takes you either toward or away from the better destination.
And your destination matters.
Are you growing closer to God or farther from Him? There is no neutral.
If you’re not seeking Him with all that you’ve got, then build a sail or build a rudder.
Whatever you have to do, just make sure your destination is Heaven.
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20
