Baby Step

You might have to squint to see anything at all.

But it’s there.

One step.

Then another.

In the ankle-deep snow through the trees in the middle of winter.

Baby step one.

Baby step two.

Might seem like “what good’s a baby step when you’re miles from where you need to go?”

But you don’t get anywhere without taking a first step.

Then another.

Then another.

Keep going.

Baby steps add up.

“Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.” Psalm 119:35
