I made it.

Some things you want for a long time before they’re given.

Some things are never given at all.

In a world of gimmie gimmie gimmie, I’d kind of given up on this dream.

Not that it wasn’t worth holding on to.

Just that life kept happening and new dreams were awakened to be either rejected or realized.

All the while this one was cryogenically frozen on the back burner, unbeknownst to me.

And now. I’m here.

Officially or otherwise.

And it’s beautiful.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude to God.
