Who Should You Marry?

America’s marriage crisis is no small problem.

Men and women prioritize all kinds of things before wedded bliss.

And bliss too quickly morphs into marriage blahs.

And before you know it, it’s just marriage: get-me-out.

Sometimes a marriage’s end is unstoppable.

And other times people give up before looking deeply into Scripture and themselves.

Seek wise counsel.

And here’s what I’ve learned:

Marriage can’t make you happy.

Marriage can’t make you miserable.

God’s will for your life exists above, beyond and well outside of wedded bliss or marriage blahs.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21
