O Holy Night!
“It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill or hope the weary soul rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!
Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices, Oh night divine, Oh night when Christ was born.”
Let us celebrate and praise the Lord!
The Savior who died for my sin and yours came to earth and was born one star-filled night.
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:12-14
