Made On Purpose

Me and my best friend went to the zoo last month for “Zoo Nights Extravaganza!”

Some facts about this:

1.)  We had to buy tickets in advance to ensure social distancing was observed.

2.)  We had to wear our masks.

3.)  I’m too old to be using expressions like “me and my best friend.”

4.)  At the zoo we saw, in entirety: a zebra, many flamingos, one rat.

5.)  Zebras are neither black with white stripes nor white with black stripes. They do have white coats on their bellies, but they have black skin underneath all that hair (these zebra facts are as reliable as is Google).

6.)  Google is not that reliable.

7.)  The creativity of God is incomprehensible. Zebras? Rats? FLAMINGOS? And that’s just one night at the zoo, during a world-wide pandemic.

“And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:25
