Happy Birthday To You

The Fourth of July exploded in my city last night in an all-encompassing firework outbreak.

Maybe we’ve all been Covid-cooped-up for too long.

Or maybe the dog days of summer have infiltrated us with a fearless fun-seeking free-for-all.

Or maybe we’re all finally able to recognize the cost and benefit of Independence Day.

Or, more likely, maybe a bit of each.

Regardless, fireworks lit up the sky in celebration last night.

And in my little world, the fireworks also commemorated a July 5th birthday and anniversary.

So please allow me to pass on a Happy Fourth of July!

and happy Birthday!!

and happy Anniversary!!!
