burst forth

“I’m writing a blog, here” he laughed. Indeed, he always is.

“The joy of God burst forth from her lungs, and teeth and larynx could not contain it.”

He was speaking of my laugh and dressed it up with language that warmed and soothed.

What a gift, indeed, to let laughter fill a room.

Greater still when laughter mingles in the air with that of another.

When we were kids, we could laugh with no fear of failure or foe.

Let us return again to that place of trust and joy in the Lord.

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!“ Psalm 30:11-12
