And then this happened.
So, this happened.
It happened.
It really, really happened no matter how many times I wished it hadn’t.
My mom passed away in September.
It wasn’t even Covid that robbed her of health.
It was a different C-word that I hadn’t realized was such a real threat.
She cried into my shoulder the day she found out and looked at me with wide and fragile eyes.
Six weeks later cancer completed its annihilation of her body.
What a heart-breaking turn of events.
I miss my mom.
Suddenly I exist with no more earthly parents.
Upside down world.
But God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
And God is always good. In Him there is no darkness.
"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1
