Winter Spring Cleaning

I think Spring Cleaning can reflect the character of the Lord (even when it’s done in Winter :).

I find metaphors of the Lord’s truths abundant in the world.

A tree can be recognized by its fruit like a Christian can be identified by their actions.

A potter has authority over the clay like the Lord is sovereign over all of creation.

A rock supplies firm footing for the traveler like the Lord provides stability for His children.

And a clean kitchen is pleasing to the eye like a cleansed life is pleasing to the Lord.

Christians are called to cleanse ourselves from sin.

Let’s Winter Spring Clean our homes as we cleanse our lives of all unrighteousness.

“Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.” Isaiah 1:16-17
